The active COVID-19 cases in Angeles City went down on Monday to 92 from 211 five days ago, city health data showed. | via Jun A. Malig/PDI

The highly urbanized city has recorded 14,508 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began in 2020. Of these, 13,883 had recovered while 533 had died.

Angeles is under Alert Level 3, but the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has issued a resolution placing the entire Central Luzon under the more lenient Alert Level 2 from Feb. 16 to 28.
