(UPDATE) NINE streets in Pandacan, Manila, have been temporarily closed in preparation for the Feast of Sto. Niño on Sunday.

NINE streets in Pandacan , Manila, have been temporarily closed in preparation for the Feast of Sto. Niño on Sunday.The Manila Public Information Office announced on Saturday that the road closures began at 7 a.m. Saturday.The affected streets include: Jesus Street-Palumpong Street ; Hilum Street ; Beata Street ; E. Zamora Street ; Laura Street ; Labores Street ; Narciso Street ; Industria Street ; Teodoro San Luis Street .

Re-routing is also being implemented as follows: Vehicles from Mabini Bridge should proceed to Quirino Avenue; vehicles from Paco-Sta. Mesa Bridge heading to Beata, Palumpong, or Laura Street should use Quirino Avenue; vehicles from Paz M. Guazon Street should turn left to Mabini Bridge or right to Quirino Avenue; vehicles from Dr. M.L. Carreon Street heading to Menandro Street should take Laura Street, Paco-Sta. Mesa Road or Tomas Claudio Street.The Feast of Sto.
