Over 80 percent of students in higher education institutions (HEIs) in the National Capital Region (NCR) have been vaccinated against Covid-19, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED)-NCR on Thursday, Sept. 22, said.

“The mandate of CHED is 100 percent but because of some other reasons like religious beliefs, di po natin magawang 100 percent but hindi po tumitigil ang CHEd and DOH [Department of Health] sa pangangampanya para dito ,” Diaz said. “Before PinasLakas, our HEIs already volunteered to [become[ vaccination sites and some others, even the personnel, even out students, especially medical students and allied health already volunteered to do the vaccination,” Diaz explained.
