As of Monday afternoon, Gumaca has logged 57 COVID-19 cases, but 25 of them had recovered. The town has 32 remaining active virus carriers.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 fatality in the province rose to 41 after another patient died in San Antonio town on Monday. Records from the Integrated Provincial Health Office shows that the COVID-19 fatality was the second in San Antonio. Quezon, which reverted to modified general community quarantine status, has recorded 1,284 COVID-19 cases since early March.
