A six-year-old child named Elisha is in critical condition after being allegedly beaten by the mother of his playmate in Caloocan City. According to the victim's relatives, Elisha went to his friend's house to play, but when they saw him again, he was unconscious, bleeding from the head, and had bruises on his body. The suspect's six-year-old child reportedly told authorities how her mother assaulted the victim. The suspect's older child heard the screams from inside the house and found the victim lying unconscious and vomiting blood. The victim underwent surgery on Sunday and remains in critical condition. Police are investigating the motive behind the attack and say the suspect may have a history of mental illness. The suspect is facing charges of frustrated murder and is currently detained at the Hillcrest Police Sub-Station.

Ayon sa pulisya, mismong ang anim na taong gulang na anak ng suspek ang nagturo sa nanay niya."According to the statement of the witness, pumasok daw ‘yung mama niya and then, no apparent reason, inuntog-untog daw ‘yung kalaro niya sa bowl. Apat na beses then, binuhat at inuga-inuga," ani Police Captain Romel Caburog, Hillcrest Police Sub-Station commander.
