Six out of 10 Filipinos believe their quality of life got worse in the past 12 months, a non-commissioned survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations (SWS) showed. READ:

Six out of 10 Filipinos believe their quality of life got worse in the past 12 months, a non-commissioned survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations showed.

SWS used the term “losers” for those who believe their quality of life got worse, “gainers” for those who think their quality of life got better, and “unchanged” for those who said it was the same.“The September 2021 Net Gainer score is 13 points down from the very low -31 in June 2021, arresting the recovery from the catastrophic -76 in September 2020 to extremely low -48 in November 2020 and very low -38 in May 2021,” SWS said in a statement.

It also worsened from very low to extremely low in Mindanao, down by 16 points from -31 to -47, and very low to extremely low in Balance Luzon, down by 14 points from -27 to -41.SWS also noted that net gainers worsened for all education groups except college graduates.
