All 45 crew members were rescued late Thursday evening, July 23, when their ship, the M/V Filipinas Dinagat, caught fire off the coast of Catmon, Cebu.
According to the Philippine Coast Guard Central Visayas, the ship left Cebu City port at around 7 pm bound for Palompon,
Leyte.The coast guard rescue team arrived around 10 pm.The PCG was still investigating the cause of the fire as of this posting.
