Ayon kay Dr. Renilyn Reyes ng Department of Health Region 6, mayroong apat na bagong kaso ng COVID-19 sa rehiyon.

Dalawa sa mga bagong nagpositibo ang galing sa Pandan, Antique, habang ang isa ay mula Zarraga, Iloilo at isa naman ay mula sa Banago sa Bacolod City.

Isang 31 anyos na lalaking jail officer sa Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Region 6 ang ika-59 na kaso ng COVID-19. Wala umano itong sintomas at kasalukuyang naka-facility quarantine. Sa 62 kumpirmadong kaso sa Western Visayas, 24 na ang naka-recover mula sa COVID-19 habang 9 na ang namatay.
