Barangay chairperson, 2 others, probed over alleged cash aid anomaly
Tatlong katao ang kinasuhan dahil umano sa iregularidad sa distribusyon ng ayuda mula sa social amelioration program ng Department of Social Welfare and Development sa Negros Occidental.
Kapwa sinampahan ng kasong paglabag sa Revised Penal Code at Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act ang barangay chairman at opisyal ng DSWD, habang paglabag sa Revised Penal Code ang isinampa sa pribadong indibiduwal. Nakatanggap umano ng P6,000 ayuda ang chairman, habang may SAP din ang isang indibiduwal kahit pa mula siya sa ibang lungsod.
