Three areas remained under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 as Tropical Depression AmangPH headed towards Polillo Islands and northern mainland Quezon, state weather bureau PAGASA said Thursday.

For the next 24 hours, an accumulated rainfall of up to 25 millimeters is expected in most areas of Central Luzon, Metro Manila, and Calabarzon due to scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, PAGASA said. PAGASA warned of possible isolated flashfloods and rain-induced landslides remains possible in areas prone to these hazards and in areas that had considerable amounts of rainfall for the past several days.
In the next 24 hours, moderate to rough seas of up to 3 meters are expected over the western seaboards of Northern Luzon, and the northern and eastern seaboards of Luzon.
