Pleasing 'Christmas' news has come to people in some flood-ravaged parts of NSW as the PM announces an additional $20,000 disaster-recovery grant.

Parts of the state's Central West were inundated for months and on November 14 the slow flood disaster became deadly, almost wiping out the town of Eugowra. Cabonne Shire Council had been calling for the additional funding since the town was almost wiped out more than five weeks ago.
