Ayon kay Mayor Nicholas Yulo, nagtalaga ng cash incentive na P50,000 para sa bawat boksingero ang lungsod. Dagdag ni Yulo, ang sinimulan ng dalawang boksingero ay magsisilbing malaking inspirasyon sa marami pang baguhan na gustong sumabak sa larangan ng boxing.
