DAVAO CITY - The Department of Health-Davao Center for Health Development (DOH-DCHD) tallied 14 new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Davao region on Saturday night.
– The Department of Health-Davao Center for Health Development tallied 14 new cases of the coronavirus disease in Davao region on Saturday night.Based on its bulletin as of 5 p.m. on Saturday, 10 new COVID-19 patients were from Davao City, two from Davao de Oro, and one each from Davao del Sur, and Davao del Norte.
Only one of the 14 patients, a 47-year-old woman from Compostela, Davao de Oro, showed symptoms. The DOH noted that the woman had a history of exposure when she was in Kuwait. Meanwhile, a 47-year-old male from Banaybanay, Davao Oriental recovered from COVID-19 on Saturday. The DOH Davao Region said a total of 299 people have successfully recovered from COVID-19. The disease has already claimed the lives of 31 people in the region.
