This August, the South Korean acoustic-folk indie singer behind many chart-topping K-Drama songs, is getting closer to fans here in the Philippines in the “10cm Closer to You” on August 31 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.
10cm, whose real name is Kwon Jung-yeol, is known for his songs that gave life to many iconic episodes of popular K-Drama series such as “Drawer” , “But It’s Destiny” , “Where is Dream” , “Lean on Me” , “My Eyes” , and many more. His most recent song that has caught the attention of Filipino fans was “Tell Me It’s Not A Dream,” which was part of the official soundtrack of “Queen of Tears,” the highest-rated drama in history of Korean channel tvN.
10cm’s journey as a solo artist began in earnest after the departure of a former bandmate in 2017.
