Japanese singer-songwriter Sayuri has passed away at the age of 28 due to a chronic illness, according to a statement released by her management team. The artist was known for her work on anime soundtracks, including songs for 'Rampo Kitan: Game of Laplace' and 'Erased'.

It is also referred to as functional voice difficulty,” according to the University of Michigan Health website.
