Is GMC’s CrabWalking truck on its way here? That looks to be the case
Chances of the Tesla Cybertruck making it to the local market are currently slim, but if it’s a full-size, fully-electric truck that you want, the Hummer EV Pickup could soon be an option for you. Car brands must submit to the Land Transportation Office the specs of any model they want to bring into the market, and in late July, the agency published the homologation papers for the electric Hummer truck.
The information shows a maximum power of 746kW, making this the three-motor setup with 1,000hp.There’s no mention of peak torque, but in case you’ve forgotten, this pickup made headlines during its launch for claiming to have 15,547Nm. That really depends on how you measure for torque, though—the actual figure is 1,625Nm.The Honda Civic V Turbo can now be yours for P200k less, now at P1,383,000The Hummer EV Pickup is also known for trick features like CrabWalk, which basically allows it to drive diagonally at low speeds, and Extract Mode, which raises the adaptive air suspension by a maximum of 152.4mm.
