Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri and fellow senators on Wednesday denied claims that there will be a change of leadership in the Senate.

According to a “24 Oras” report, Zubiri said, "There had been no talk of leadership changes as well as any warnings from anyone on the low output of the Senate."Meanwhile, Senator Joel Villanueva said the issue is a desperate and pathetic move to destroy not only the reputation of Senator Zubiri “but also to destabilize the integrity of the Senate as an institution.

Senators Grace Poe, Nancy Binay, Loren Legarda, and Chiz Escudero also refuted the issue of changing the leadership in the Senate.
