If you are an iOS user, this news might excite you. According to a newsletter from Mark Gurman, the new iPhones could come pre-loaded with the latest software. That said, what should you know about it?
For your information, Mark says the new system is called “Presto within Apple”. Thanks to this system, the iPhone will feature the latest iOS version by wirelessly updating the phone even when it is still on the store shelves. If true, this could save you a lot of time on the updates during the first setup.
In addition, Mark says this update will start rolling out by this April in the US. Interestingly, he also claimed Apple has started testing this feature since the end of 2023. In case you were wondering how it works, the phone will be placed on metal shelves that use “MagSafe and other wireless technologies” to keep the phone powered on, download, update and switch off the phone.
On the other hand, you will still have to download the latest update for third-party apps. That includes apps like Netflix, Spotify, Amazon, Disney Plus and so forth. As of now, we have yet to confirm other details on the update. However, it will be interesting to see how iOS users in Malaysia will react to this tech feature.
