“It was fun to play against teams that had so much talent and for everyone to come out and see what high school hockey has to offer, it was great.” The tournament will feature eight teams – four in each division. Glace Bay will be in Division 1 with the Sydney Academy Wildcats, Auburn Drive Eagles of Dartmouth, and the River East Kodiaks of Winnipeg, Man.

JEREMY FRASER/CAPE BRETON POST - Jeremy FraserWhile the Panthers have continued to play, head coach Dwayne Doucette said his team hasn’t had a lot of opportunity to practice as of late as the club is battling some injuries and illness.
“They all come to our practices and they really know our system and stuff like that, so that will be a big help as they could have some big shoes to fill this weekend,” said Doucette, who didn’t confirm which players could miss the event.
