I don’t know how many Canadians are Islamophobic, but given that we need a “special representative” there must be hundreds of thousands, or, who knows, maybe the number could be as high as four million. Personally, I don’t think many Canadians are Islamophobic, but then, I’m not a “special representative.”
I’d like to hear Elghawaby explain what that description even means because in all the years I’ve celebrated Canada Day, I can’t recall hearing any “European, Judeo-Christian stories.” Then again, I’m having difficulty remembering what I ate for lunch yesterday, so there’s that.
