Sam Ke Ting is now a free woman but says the basikal lajak incident will haunt her for life.
Sam Ke Ting is now a free woman following the Court of Appeal’s decision to free her in the modified bicycle or “basikal lajak” case.
As reported by several news portals, in a unanimous decision, a 3-judge panel allowed Sam’s appeal on the grounds that the charge was defective. In this case, the charge was incorrect and defective, similar to the conviction, which is also defective. So both procedures did not follow the law.
