CEBUANO MMA veteran Arnel Ylanan will make his international debut against experienced Brazilian Italo Freitas in the Island Fighters League 2 on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, at the White Beach Rock in Bali, Indonesia.Ylanan is one of the staples of the Cebu MMA scene and has been fighting professionally since 2012. He has seen action in some of the country’s big leagues like the URCC and PXC.
Before that win, Freitas was on a four-fight losing streak in China. He once fought UFC fighter Muin Gafurov and lost by a first-round stoppage in 2017.Ylanan is 9-5 with six submission wins under his belt, while Frietas is 10-10 with six submissions and two knockouts.Four other Pinoy fighters are seeing action in the undercard -- Arjay Ortega, Gio Garduque, Arvin Chan and Jovanie Bualan.
