“The nationals are something we’ve been going after for a long time now,” said Panthers head coach Forbie MacPherson. “We are obviously focusing on the present; we have a big game here Friday night, but we also know, generally speaking for our program, it’s a big year. “When you look at the big picture and how we have been playing so far, we have essentially been in five one-goal games, excluding empty-netters ,” said MacPherson. “All of the games could have gone either way.
