The Icon of the Seas, the world's largest cruise ship, has started its voyage from Miami, Florida. It is almost five times bigger than the Titanic and can accommodate up to 8,000 passengers and crew. The ship has multiple amenities including swimming pools, water slides, and restaurants.
The world’s largest cruise ship , called Icon of the Seas, has started sailing! According to Kuya Kim’s report on “24 Oras Weekend” on Saturday, it started its seven-day island-hopping voyage from Miami , Florida . The cruise ship is 365 meters long and 250,800 gross tonnes in weight, almost five times bigger than the Titanic . The Icon of the Seas has 20 decks, which can accommodate up to 8,000 passengers and crew.
It also has seven swimming pools, six water slides, and multiple bars and restaurants. The cruise ship was built at a shipyard in Turku, Finland and costs $2 billion. —Carby Basina/JCB, GMA Integrated News
