'Still, Unicef worries that 'host communities, shelters and schools' won't be able to handle 'the sheer number of children who could be potentially displaced' by a single disaster event.Extreme heat now looms as an equally serious threat that needs to be urgently addressed.Heat exposure can affect children even before they are born and can also lead to preterm births, low birth weight, stillbirth and congenital issues.
