A woman who scammed another woman into paying for fraudulent visa processing and other overseas travel fees was arrested in an entrapment operation by members of the Pasig City Police Station (CPS) on Tuesday, June 6. | ManilaBulletin
Col. Celerino Sacro Jr., Pasig CPS chief, identified the suspect as “Marian,” 38, resident of Noveleta, Cavite.
Marian reportedly asked for P25,000 for visa processing to cover the victim's travel fees to the Middle East, which the victim paid. As per their agreement, the victim went to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport last May 24 and waited 24 hours for the suspect and the alleged contact who failed to appear.
The victim filed a complaint against the suspect at the Pasig CPS, which was referred to the Station Intelligence Section .
