A 28-year-old woman died after she fell off the motorcycle she was riding with her husband when they hit a dog that reportedly crossed the street suddenly in Barangay Sang Miguel, Calasiao, Pangasinan .The woman was identified as Al-Mariel Calvario. She was with her husband, Karl, who was driving the motorcycle at that time.The incident happened on October 21, 2024, while the couple was on their way to buy milk for their two-year-old child.“Biglang tumawid ‘yung aso.
Al-Mariel hit her head on the pavement. She was rushed to the hospital but died during treatment.Authorities are searching for the owner of the dog, which fled the scene after the accident.“Ang ginagawa namin ngayon, Sir, ay tinutunton namin ‘yung may-ari ng aso,” PCPT. Anthony Doctolero, Deputy Chief of the Calasiao Police Station, said.Rony Basa, a barangay councilman in San Miguel, emphasized the need for pet owners to follow local regulations.
