BACOLOD CITY – A woman and her companion were arrested by the police in a buy-bust operation in Purok Maabi-abihon, Barangay 35, this city, on Thursday, October 12.
Police identified the suspects as Ana Crisostomo and Ivan Lee Jereza. Seized from them was 23 grams of suspected shabu worth P156,400.

Crisostomo is a high-value individual while Jereza is a street-level individual, Police Major Elmer Bonilla, head of Police Station 1, said.
Bonilla said that Crisostomo was arrested for a drug offense in 2016 and was released from jail in 2019 through plea bargaining. Police continued monitoring her until authorities recently found out that she returned to the illegal drugs trade, Bonilla said.related stories
