But certain elements who seem to support former president Rodrigo Roa Duterte after he broke with Marcos have been heard to theorize about a possible secession in Mindanao, a possible withdrawal of military support for the commander-in-chief by the generals, a possible revolutionary government under a civilian-military leadership, a possible repeat of the 1986 civilian-supported military uprising that ended the 21-year rule of the late 'dictator.
