OPPOSITION to Charter change has doubled from a year ago despite President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s push for it.According to the latest Pulse Asia survey results, the number of people who don't want the 1987 Constitution amended has jumped from 45 percent in March 2023 to 88 percent last month.The big leap against Charter change should compel legislators to abandon the move to lift the ownership restrictions in the 1987 Constitution, that is, if they are truly serving the public interest.
