But sadly and predictably, that idolatry has brought forth nuclear-armed superpowers and billionaires owning most wealth on the planet.And that enormity has given us not security and sufficiency but the very opposite — the threat of regional conflicts escalating to worldwide atomic warfare and the amassing of assets by a fraction of humanity, leaving nearly a billion people facing hunger every day.
