Susan Dalziel watched the eighth and final game of the 1972 Summit Series between Team Canada and the Soviet Union in a packed residence lounge at the University of New Brunswick. Dalziel, who now resides in Cornwall, P.E.I., was a driving force behind the development and growth of female hockey on P.E.I.

Henderson scored to give Team Canada — comprised of NHL players — a thrilling 6-5 win over the Soviet Union national team.
