Eya Laure and Angel Canino were both called up by the PNVF to be part of the Alas Pilipinas women's team which will compete in the upcoming AVC Challenge Cup.
Eya Laure and Angel Canino were both called up by the Philippine National Volleyball Federation to be part of the Alas Pilipinas women's team which will compete in the upcoming AVC Challenge Cup and both players said they are excited with the opportunity given to them.Laure said she is excited to reunite with her University of Santo Tomas senior Sisi Rondina and with other veterans such as Jia De Guzman.
"May additions din, sina Angel kasama din so excited ako sa bagong learnings and experience."Meanwhile, Canino said this will be an opportunity to see what they can still improve in terms of their skills."It's a big opportunity for us para makita kung ano pa ang kulang namin individually and ano pa ang puwedeng gawin sa sarili namin," Canino said on Wednesday as De La Salle University was awarded its bronze medal finish in UAAP Season 86.
