The two screenings in Wolfville coincided with the 30th anniversary of Kenley’s mysterious last sighting.I was spellbound for all five episodes by the landscape and the characters that filmmaker Ron Lamothe talked to. There were three former Wolfville police officers and the late lamented town observer Rick Daniels.
Kayrene Willis was attending Acadia at the time of her brother’s disappearance. One feels convinced if Kenley had just taken off, she would have been informed. So, what happened? An independent Massachusetts filmmaker, LaMothe got hooked on Kenley’s story about a decade ago and has exemplified dogged research. I wrote a couple of news stories back when he had to fundraise to produce and film the documentary. And Kenley’s tale wasn’t his first.
