The UPEI Panthers play in the Atlantic University Sport. - ContributedWOLFVILLE, N.S. — Salem Farag scored the UPEI Panthers’ lone in a 1-1 tie against the host Acadia Axemen in Atlantic University Sport men’s soccer play on Oct. 6.
Farag’s goal at 26:36 staked the Panthers to a 1-0 lead, but Noah Schurman responded for Acadia in the first minute of the second half to tie the game.Acadia and UPEI sport identical records of 0-4-2 .In the women’s game, the Axewomen scored twice in the game’s first 10 minutes and scored four second-half goals en route to a 7-1 win over the Panthers .
