Norm Pinsky caught this beautiful fern frost pattern on a glass table on his back deck in Hubley, N.S. Fern frost can appear on glass windows where there is very cold air on one side and moist air on the other.

Cold temperatures can certainly make for beautiful designs on windows. As a result, the condensed water droplets freeze into patterns that resemble leaves or ferns. Great photo, Norm. Thanks for sharing.
