IN 2023, Watsons Philippines, true to its 'look good, do good, feel great' brand promise, made great strides toward sustainability to minimize waste and empower customers to make eco-conscious choices, contributing to a healthier planet.The health and beauty retailer tapped into more renewable energy sources with 30 solar panels installed across stores nationwide and ended the year with an increase in the Sustainable Choices product offerings of 11.2 percent.
Its partnerships with Plastic Bank helped save 50,000 kilos of ocean-bound plastic from polluting waters, and the Trash to Cash Recycling Program, in partnership with SM Malls, collected 6,000 kilos of waste.'For us, doing good means more than just providing quality products and access to health services. It's also about upholding our commitment to support our community and protect our planet,' Watsons Philippines Managing Director Danilo Chiong said.
