IN a significant stride toward advancing sustainable development, Water.org and the Global Green Growth Institute have entered into a strategic partnership through a memorandum of understanding signed on June 10, 2024.This collaboration aims to bolster efforts in achieving Sustainable Development Goal 6, which focuses on clean water and sanitation for all, as part of the broader 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.The partnership will facilitate cooperation between Water.
Key focus areas include strengthening institutional frameworks for green growth planning and financing, increasing green public and private investments, enhancing south-south cooperation and knowledge sharing on sustainable development and financing, and advancing thought leadership in green growth based on evidence from the public and private sectors.Water.org Southeast Asia Regional Director Griselda Santos emphasized the importance of this partnership.
