Korean superstars BTS dazzled in their first performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on Monday, August 31 .
The 7-member band debuted on the VMAs virtual stage the first onstage performance of"Dynamite," the group's first all-English single. Both the song and the accompanying video for"Dynamite" were released on August 20. As one of the most-anticipated singles of 2020, the song broke records, particularly on the streaming platform YouTube.
BTS got 3 nominations for"On" in the VMAs – Best Pop Video, Best K-Pop, and Best Choreography. The group also won Best Group during the VMA pre-show.
