THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay residents will see changes to the city’s waste collection schedule over the coming week due to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
City residents with regular waste and recycling collection will receive collection one day earlier, the City of Thunder Bay advised. There will be no collection on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Friday, Sept. 30. The city’s Solid Waste & Recycling Facility on Mapleward Road will also be closed on this day.
Residents can view waste collection dates at the city’s website or contact Infrastructure & Operations Dispatch at 625-2195 for more information.
