Mississauga, Ontario and Canada said goodbye to legendary former mayor Hazel McCallion

This was also her 102nd birthday, which she fell just 15 days of reaching when she died of cancer Jan. 29 at the age of 101.
While that’s true, Chretien and all other speakers understood this celebration was not about anywhere else in Canada than Mississauga. McCallion is the one who envisioned it, designed it, nurtured it and led it for 36 years.
