Vice President Sara Duterte said Tuesday she is open to reconciling with President Marcos should he and his allies apologize for the death of a Kingdom of
Jesus Christ member during a police operation in Davao City last August.
“Can we reconcile? They need to apologize to the family of the man who died in Davao City during the incident at KOJC. Someone died. They should also apologize to everyone affected by the tear gas and the violence,” she said. “They should apologize to everyone who has been unable to sleep because they are repeatedly called to the House of Representatives. And it’s not just a casual ‘sorry’—they should name everyone and apologize properly,” Duterte said.
