DAVAO CITY – The National Bureau of Investigation arrested a 28-year-old vlogger in a buy-bust operation in a restobar here on Friday night, August 16.
The NBI-Southeastern Mindanao Regional Office identified the suspect as Christ Briand P. Oncada, alias “Christ Briand” on Facebook.
Oncada was arrested at Surf Shack 2.0 Davao after he sold one five-gram sachet of suspected dried marijuana leaves worth P2,000, one 30-milliliter bottle of suspected marijuana oil, and a two-milliliter bottle of suspected marijuana oil to poseur-buyer. Also recovered from the suspect were 38 sachets of suspected dried marijuana leaves weighing 35 grams, dried marijuana leaves covered in plastic wraps, one 30-milliliter bottle of marijuana oil, and 15 small bottles labeled “Love and Respect” each suspected to contain marijuana oil. Oncada was selling perfumes with similar labels on his Facebook page.Oncada faces charges for violating Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
