Listed poultry integrator and animal feed manufacturer Vitarich Corp. on Wednesday opened 2025 with a record net income that is 389 times over the previous year, as its top line grew on the back of higher nationwide pricing of chicken products, and a new revenue stream.In a regulatory filing, Vitarich reported a net income of P241.615 million, up from P620,959 the same period last year. Revenues increased to P3.195 billion from P2.937 billion, while gross profit climbed to P607.
8 million or 14.5 times the P24.1 million the previous year, while operating expenses rose to an equivalent of 8.1% of revenues to reflect higher freight and handling costs, merchandiser salaries, and training and marketing expenses.“This performance boosts our outlook and reinforces our confidence in navigating an evolving macroeconomic environment,” Vitarich chief executive officer Rocco Sarmiento said.
