Senator Cynthia Villar abandons Senate presidency race

SENATOR Cynthia Villar said on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, that she is no longer interested in seeking the Senate presidency in the incoming 19th Congress.“Ayaw ko na. I want a simple life,” she added.

She nodded, however, when asked if she would instead support Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri who reportedly refused term-sharing options.
