TV host and comedian Vice Ganda has officially endorsed a campaign aimed at securing recognition and rights for gig and informal workers in the
Philippines. The announcement was made early this month during an event with George Royeca, the CEO of Angkas and a prominent advocate for gig workers.
The initiative seeks to improve the working conditions and prospects of gig workers across various industries, particularly those in the informal sector, including the entertainment industry. It’s about ensuring these workers get the respect, security, and benefits they deserve,” said Vice Ganda after formally endorsing Angkasangga Partylist.
