At 70, life is far from waning for iconic comedian and host 'Bossing' Vic Sotto. 2024 is when he charted new beginnings. He began the year with the birth of his baby girl Marceline (a.k.a. Mochi) on Jan. 23, his second daughter with wife Pauleen Luna.
He culminates the year by showing his film "The Kingdom" at the Metro Manila Film Festival , where he will star with another heavyweight, Piolo Pascual.
"The Kingdom" is much awaited because Vic hasn't been featured in an MMFF movie for five years, and that's quite a long wait for his fans. What he assures them is that "it will be something different. It's not a comedy, and I have never done something like it." Playtime Philippines' PR head Jay Sabale noted that Vic was a natural choice to be the face of their digital platform owing to his four decades-long career as a noontime TV show host of the iconic"Eat Bulaga!" where exciting games and contests reigned.
