The Valenzuela City government and the Municipality of Saint Bernard in the province of Southern Leyte established their partnership by signing a sisterhood agreement on Tuesday, Feb. 28.
Valenzuela City Mayor Weslie “Wes” Gatchalian and Municipality of Saint Bernard Mayor Edito Mulig led the signing of agreement at the Valenzuela City Hall.
It was done through the Resolution No. 2595, Series of 2022, approved by the City Council, which embodies the interest of Valenzuela City to establish a sisterhood relationship agreement with the municipality in Southern Leyte. Municipality of Saint Bernard officials also inspected different facilities in the city, including the Allied Local Emergency and Evacuation Response Team Center, the Disiplina Village Bignay, the Valenzuela City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Center Training Center, and the Wellness, Entertainment, Sports Arena.
