Simeon Construction, also provided financial assistance amounting to P30,000 to each home owner and P20,000 to renters.The city government said the financial aid would help the affected families during the rectification of the road and drainage on Agustin Street and the construction of the retaining wall on the property where the DPWH is constructing the four-story legislative building.The area will be closed to the general public except for pedestrian access by residents, it added.
