UNIFIED Transport Operations League (UTOL), an all Filipino ride-hailing transport network company (TNC), partnered with the Social Security System (SSS) to enable UTOL to subsidize the SSS monthly premiums of its drivers and operators.
UNIFIED Transport Operations League , an all Filipino ride-hailing transport network company , partnered with the Social Security System to enable UTOL to subsidize the SSS monthly premiums of its drivers and operators.For this special subsidy, SSS designed a new program to accommodate the needs of the company that has no employer-employee setup with its drivers/operators.
In addition, drivers/operators would be required to meet minimum standards setup by UTOL for its drivers/operators. They should be well-disciplined, good mannered, and must have no bad record with law enforcement agencies.This would be a welcome development since UTOL would take care of monthly remittances and premium costs; so, drivers/operators could concentrate on their work and be able to earn more.UTOL's move to provide SSS subsidy was an invaluable benefit for drivers and operators.
